Gas Compression Optimisation
PI can increase your compressor
performance, reduce your compressor operating costs and increase
your compressor uptime. PI uniquely has a strong compression
team specialising in rotating equipment, process engineering,
process control and instrumentation. Control engineers are
experienced in anti-surge, load sharing and performance control
systems from all manufacturers. We have carried out a number
of performance optimisation jobs involving adjustments to
installed CCC parameters. PI has resolved a number of gas
plant process and control issues. PI gained a 15% increase
in production for one client by redefining compressor control
lines preventing unnecessary recycling across a constrained
machine. Compression related problems are not necessarily defined
around the compressor alone but may involve your overall gas
process. PI can assess your overall gas compression problems
meeting process plant requirements where original equipment
vendor and control system manufacturers may be constrained
to their own equipment boundaries.
